The first coin to be put into circulation in the year 2015 was to commemorate the Centenary of Komagata Maru incident.

2015 125th Birth Anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru
The second coin to be put into circulation in 2015 was that of Jawaharlal Nehru. This is the 3rd time that a coin to commemorate Nehru is issued. The other 2 being on the Death in 1964 and Birth Centenary in 1989

2015 Golden Jubilee of 1965 Victory
The 3rd coin put into circulation was of Golden Jubilee of 1965 war.



Mint: Mumbai
Reverse:
The image of "Amar Jawan" monument along with the design of olive leaves branch on its left and right sides at the center, with the inscription “VALOUR AND SACRIFICE” on the right upper periphery. The year "2015" is written below the image of the monument. The inscription "GOLDEN JUBILEE 1965 OPERATIONS" in English on the lower periphery.

The 1st coin of Rs 5 in the year 2016 was of Begum Akhtar. Although the Coin was released by Kolkata Mint, the coins in general circulation was from Mumbai Mint before Kolkata Mint.

2017 - Allahabad High Court
The 1st coin of Rs 5 denomination to be put into circulation in 2017 was Allahabad High Court. For the first time it seems that the Rs 5 coin from Hyderabad mint was put into circulation before any other mints. There was no press notification and the coins were available in March 2017.

  3. 7 months on there seems to be no clue about the 5 rupees bhel begum Akhtar and JN Tata coins. Even on searching for images the same images are being shown on the website and no new images are seen at all.has anyone of you got these coins in circulation?
