My name is Nathan Tobiason and I created the Vertical Coin Bank. The bank consists of two sheets of clear acrylic spaced precisely apart to allow the thickest coins, nickels, to fit while preventing the thinnest coins, dimes, from overlapping.

Plinko! Plinko! This is the satisfying sound you hear as inserted coins bounce randomly off the spacers, stacking in the bottom of the bank. To free the coins, simply remove the magnetic latch.
