what would be the value of Gandhi 20 paise coin Calcutta mint as it is rare ?
ReplyDeleteVery common
Deleteyou have mentioned above in the box about different mints Mumbai and Hyderabad mint 20 paise Gandhi coins are plenty but Calcutta mint are rare
ReplyDeleteHi Maulik, when I started this, I used the convention of plenty and rare in context of the particular issue. For example compared to Mumbai the Kolkata would be rare. However the Kolkata coins are available for Rs 100, with most dealers. The real expensive/ rare coins are listed in rare and expensive coins article
DeleteHi Admin,
ReplyDeleteThere seem to be a mistake from your end while describing 20 Paise Fisheries Coin. You have mentioned year as 1986 which is incorrect. These coins were issued in 1983.
Accordingly the description of the coin becomes automatically incorrect that it was based on Fisheries theme of 'World Food Day' of 1986 as these coins were issued in 1983. Request you to recheck and update. Thanks.
I have 20 paisa
